On 16-Apr-2016 a tree was planted on the Library lawn to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the incorporation of the Village of Cambridge.
In 2025, the Library began plans for an addition. On 24-Nov-2025 Elhannon Nursery moved the tree about 50 feet to the north.
