We all remember Albert Rich’s (and then Dorothy Rich Madison’s) motorized popcorn wagon. That started in 1925.

But only our grandparents or great-grandparents remember Albert’s first popcorn wagon pulled by his horse Roxy. That started in 1907.

In 1925 Albert purchased a specialty vehicle based on a Model T Ford. It was one of two made by C. Cretor and used a white gas-powered engine that had a steam driven powerhouse for cooking up tasty popcorn, hot dogs and other treats.
Comparing the two popcorn wagons, it’s possible that Albert lifted the carriage from the horse-drawn wagon and placed it on the Model T.
